Using the map

Use the map to see where theatre and theatre-related practice takes place in Bristol. The map is arranged by council ward.

To view artist/company profiles, use the drop-down menu on the top navigation bar, and select the area you're interested in (eg. Theatre Companies) to view a listing. You can also access this information by clicking on the links that appear on the right hand side of the page as you use the map.

• The icons on the left represent theatre activity across the whole city – all boxes are automatically ticked, but you can deselect all and then select the particular areas of practice you’re interested in.
• You can select a specific area you want to view by using either the drop-down menu on the left of the page, or by clicking on the desired ward.
• By checking all the directory categories you can find out all types of theatre-related activity happening in a selected area.
• More information can be found by placing the mouse cursor over a particular region on the map.
• Click on 'hide regions' or 'show regions’ to hide or show the name of the council wards.
