Costume Maker Available
I am currently ‘resting’ between performances which leaves me some time for my other trade; dressmaking.
I’ve made costumes for short films, theatre, walk-about and circus performers. I am an aerialist so I understand the special requirements for aerial and acrobatic costumes.
I’ve trained in Costume Design and Pattern Cutting.
I am also looking to make some spectacular showcase costumes which I am prepared to do for expenses and good photographic documentation.

I perform as a jester and work in costumes designed from contemporary pictures and made up in authentic materials, leather, wool,linen etc. My previous maker has moved on and I am looking for someone else who can do the same job, making up patterns, making to measure and working closely with myself and my designer. I have no immediate commissions but the next aspiration is for an 18th century ‘fop’ costume.
Is this the kind of work you would be interested in? If so can you give me an idea of how much you would charge.
